Depends on the flavor! Guava or Coconut cake is the best, but I also like a good Peach pie!

Christmas Countdown Day 24: The Most Amazing Week

Hey everyone!
So this post is going to be all about my life! This week has been so amazing and a lot of good things have happened to me and I wanted to share some of the great news with you guys! Before I start, please don't think of this as bragging, I totally don't mean it like that! If you are going to get offended by this post, or if you're going to think that I'm bragging, please check out a different post instead! So let's get started!
So on Saturday, I received my PSAT score in the mail. I am a junior in high school if you guys didn't know that and I got a 190 on the psat, which I was actually really happy with. I know a lot of people at my school get in the 200s, but I thought that was really good for me and I was so psyched! Then on sunday, I had a family dinner with some of my extended family that I don't see very often. It was sushi and it was absolutely delicious and great. Then when I got home sunday night, I checked my SAT scores and saw that those were posted too. I am so happy with what I got on my SAT and I think that I'm going to try take the ACT instead of retaking the SAT because I love the scores that I got! I got a 2000 on my SAT, which is the highest that I've ever gotten and is a good couple hundred points above my practice test scores. I know my parents are so thrilled and I put a lot of pressure on myself to get good SAT scores for financial aid reasons and to exceed my goals, I am just beyond words right now! Monday was good, I didn't really do much, but I wrapped presents and all that jazz. Then today, I went down to the local DMV to get my drivers permit! It was really funny because they gave the eye test and I couldn't for the life of me read one number. It was kind of scary and I think I should go to the eye doctor soon. But I passed the test and I am officially allowed to start driving! Whoo! So currently, I'm taking a break from getting ready for (yet another) family party. It is a huge christmas eve party and it will be lots of fun!
So that was my great news! I really hope that all of you have a fantastic Christmas eve and that you guys have a great Christmas day tomorrow! I love all of you guys so much and I am so grateful for you all!
Merry Christmas (Eve)!

Christmas Countdown Day 22: Christmas TAG!

Hey everyone!
So I have another fun Christmas Tag for you guys! I am really excited to do this for you guys so let's get started!

1) Do you prefer real or fake Christmas trees?
I love real christmas trees because of the scent, but my family uses fake christmas trees because they are a lot less expensive and easier to maintain!

2) You're in a coffee shop, it's December, what do you pick?
I love caramel drinks! Caramel Machiattos are always a favorite of mine and Caramel Brulee Fraps are also amazing!

3) What's your favorite color scheme for decorating the tree?
Anything and everything! This year I have both colored and white lights, and a whole slew of ornaments! I love the look of a bright and colorful and fun color scheme!

4) Giving or receiving?
I love picking out presents that my friends will love, so I guess giving, but I also love receiving presents because I get really happy and I love everything that I get!

5) To mince pie or not?
Not exactly sure what this is because I've never had it before, so I'm just going to go with no.

6)What's your traditional Sunday lunch?
I usually make a Chinese chicken salad and get pizza! Haha sooooo healthy :P

7) Christmas day fashion?
Casual! I usually stay in sweats and a tank, but this year we're having people come over so probably shorts and a dressier top.

8) Favorite Christmas song?
I love Feliz Navidad by Michael Buble. I've been listening to it nonstop lately!

9) Favorite Christmas movie?
I love Elf!

10) When do you open presents?

Christmas Countdown Day 20: Winter Wonderland TAG!

Hi guys!
So I have a wonderful tag for you today! I know that there used to be lots of christmas tags going around the community a couple years ago before I started blogging, but I haven't really seen any new ones until today! So I thought it would be super fun to do the winter wonderland tag!

1) Favorite thing about winter?
I love how you can start being more adventurous with the lip colors because I love red lips! I also love the scents because at least in my house, me and my mom start baking a lot more and the candles this time of year are heaven!
2) Scarves or Beanies?
Neither? Haha it's not cold enough where I live to wear either, but if I had to choose one I'd go with scarves!
3) Favorite holiday movie?
Elf! Lol I did a whole elf inspired quotes post that I'll link here if you'd like to see!
4) Favorite winter nail polish?
I don't have specific polishes in mind, but I love emerald greens! Actually, I'm purposely being secretive about this because I have a post on this topic coming in a few days on my other blog!
5) Favorite Starbucks holiday drink?
Caramel Brulee Frap! This drink is so heavenly and I totally recommend trying it at least once this season!
6) Top 3 winter essentials?
Well I live in Hawaii, so mines will be a little different than most peoples, but it would be a jacket with a hood (it gets cold and rainy!), a sexy red lipstick (it makes anyone look instantly better!), and a nice going out dress (appropriate for family events too, though!).
7) Name one item on your wishlist!
I already did a wishlist post, which I'll link here. But one thing off my wishlist is Prada Candy perfume because I love that scent and I never spend money on perfumes!
8) Favorite Holiday song?
Another question that I already did a post on! But This Christmas is my favorite song and I especially love the Christina Aguilera or Cee Lo version of it!
9) Did you black friday shopping this year?
Haha I survived black friday this year! Me and my friend went at midnight and it was craziness!
10) Must have winter lip product?
My EOS Sweet Mint lip balm! My lips get really chapped during this time and I need a good lip balm to keep them soft and hydrated! Also, I love mint and this one smells so yummy.
11) Will you be rocking an ugly Christmas sweater this year?
Nope! I really want an ugly Christmas sweater because if I had one I would wear it 24/7!
12) Have you ever had a white Christmas?
This questions is so funny to me because I live in Hawaii! Haha it would be a miracle for the weather to get below 60 degrees most days!
13) Favorite winter candle scent?
Bath and Body works leaves or cinnamon sticks!
14) How will you be celebrating christmas?
I have a christmas dinner with my dad's side of the family on the 23, a christmas eve party with my mom's side of the family on the 24th, and on actual christmas, I'm spending it with my grandparents and family at home! Also, this saturday I have a party with my cheer girlies!

So that was the winter wonderland tag! I would love for you to do this tag and I tag EVERYONE to do this because I would absolutely love to read your answers! Also, don't forget to follow this blog and my other blog for the remaining 5 days of Christmas Countdown! I can't believe how fast the time flies! I love you guys and I'll post again tomorrow!

Christmas Countdown Day 18: DIY Christmas Cards

Hey everyone!
So at the beginning of this series, I promised to do some DIYS, but I haven't really. But this all changes today! I am showing you guys how to do really quick and easy Christmas cards!

I really wanted to write my friends good cards this year. Not the normal "merry christmas" or something like that, but actual heartfelt notes to them thanking them for everything they do for me. I thought that this would be nice because everyone loves to hear how much others love them! So I want to challenge you guys to write heartfelt letters to your friends and family this year too!

So for the actual cards, I used blank cards that aren't folded or anything like that because these are what I had on hand. On one side, I wrote their name (or nickname) and I used glitter glue to spice it up. You can get so creative with this and draw, paint, glue, stick, even collage things on this side! I was doing a lot of these, so I went pretty simple with mine. Then on the other side, I wrote letters to my friends! If you want to see what I wrote, you can zoom in on the picture to read it, but the majority of mine are thanking them for being a great friend, an inside joke or an experience that I/we've gone through, and a hope or wish for us for the next year! Get creative and have fun writing whatever you'd like!

That was my Christmas Card DIY! It was such a no-brainer tutorial, but I think that it was worth mentioning! Let me know if you do this and how you decorate your cards in the comments and don't forget to follow this blog for more DIYs!

Christmas Countdown Day 16: Present Wrapping Extravaganza

Hey everyone!
So this post is pretty random, but I just finished wrapping all my presents and I wanted to share with you my accomplishment! haha I am the worst present wrapper ever, but I think that I did a good job this year!

So I put most of my presents into bags, because that is the easiest for me! I still have to put tissue paper in some of them because you can see the presents in some of them, but I am pretty proud of my skills! This literally took me like an hour and a half to find all the bags and ribbons and stuff and to wrap everything, but I got to watch scandal while I wrapped so that made it fun!

So that was my Present Wrapping Extravaganza! Let me know in the comments what other posts you'd like to see in my Christmas Countdown series and remember to follow this blog for the remaining posts!

Christmas Countdown Day 14: My Favorite Christmas Songs!

Hey everyone!
I have a very exciting post! It's my favorite christmas songs! I love Christmas music and I really wanted to share with you some of my favorites! So let's get started!

This Christmas
Literally every big recording artist has done this song, but I have a few favorites! I think that the Christina Aguilera version is my favorite, but the Chris Brown and Cee Lo version is good too!

Santa Baby
I love this song a lot too and I especially love the Michael Buble version of this!

Baby It's Cold Outside!
Another great song! I really like the Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo version of this song, but this is a song that I love no matter who sings it!

Merry Christmas Happy Holidays
Who remembers NSYNC? Haha it was wayyy before my time, but I loved their music so much! This is probably my favorite of all these songs just because my dad used to play this song all around our house when I was younger!

So those were my favorite Christmas songs! Let me know what your favorite Christmas songs are in the comments below and don't forget to leave suggestions for future Christmas Countdown posts!

Christmas Countdown Day 12: Let's Recap the Day!

Hey everyone!
So it's been forever since I've done a Let's Recap the Day post! If you are a long time reader, you know that I used to do this daily, but that was got really crazy so I stopped. But because it's Christmas Countdown I thought I'd do it again on today (December 8th for me, December 12th for you!).

So I woke up at 3am! Isn't that crazy! But I had to get up so early because I had to volunteer at the Honolulu Marathon, which started at 5am. I got on location at 4 and I ate breakfast and then spent the morning cheering on the runners. It was a lot of fun! We were around the 1/8th mark for the first couple hours then we moved to the finish line to cheer on the runners. I saw a couple of my teachers running, which was really cool and I got to play with foam fingers and noise makers! Also, I got payed $90 for that! Whoo! Then at around 12:30, I had to go to a salon to get my hair cut. I wanted to go a little bit shorter, so I went for 2 inches off the bottom. I was debating whether to layer my hair or to keep it one length, but I kept it one length because it would be a bitch to do buns for cheer if my hair was layered! Then I got home and took a nap. I did some homework that I didn't get a chance to do over the weekend and I watched a few television episodes. For dinner my dad picked up Panda Express, which was so yummy! I ate a little beef broccoli, beijing beef, and chowmein. I watched the Lakers vs Toronto game on tv and to be completely honest, I don't think that Kobe looked that good at all. Like he was slow, didn't jump, made bad passes, too many turnovers.... But thats off topic. Then I showered, and started blogging!

So that was my day! Let me know how your day was and what you did today in the comments and leave more Christmas Countdown suggestions in the comments below!

Christmas Countdown Day 10: Christmasy Quotes of the Week!

Hi everyone!
So instead of my usual inspirational quotes of the week, I thought that from now until christmas I could do christmas themed ones! So I found three of my all time favorite quotes from my all time favorite Christmas movie: Elf. So courtesy of Buddy, here are my three favorite quotes of the week!

What would this post be without the quintessential Buddy quote? But really, I love this quote and I think that its really true! My family is really into singing Christmas carols badly, and it is a tradition that always gets me in the mood for Christmas!

This quote is my life. I think I already put this in another quotes post, but its worth adding in again! I love this so much and if I had a life mantra, this would be it!

Another really cute quote! I love this part of the movie the best (when he attacks "fake santa") and this quote makes me smile and laugh every time I see it!

So those were my Christmasy quotes of the week! Let me know if you like the christmas quote idea or if you'd rather me do my normal inspirational quotes in the comments and check my other blog tomorrow for another christmas countdown post!

Christmas Countdown Day 8: Thankful For Blogger Friends TAG Part 2

Hey everyone!
I'm doing a lot of posts in advance because this week is going to be crazy so I'm not sure when this post is going up, but the other half of this post will most likely be going up really soon or is already up on my other blog! But this is the personal part of the tag! So let's start!

1) Tell us about your city!
It is pretty large, but is kind of suburban if that makes sense. It is very chill and casual and its not uncommon to see people out in flip flops and shorts and a tank on the street.
2) What about your home?
It is pretty small (4 bedroom, 1 office, livingroom and kitchen) and it is technically 2 houses connected because my grandparents live "next door", which is really like down the hall. It's so confusing to explain, but whatever.
3) Single or taken?
I am very single right now!
4) Do you have children?
Nope! It'd be really creepy if I had kids because I'm pretty young....
5) Do you have pets?
Nope! I used to have a rabbit before!
6) Do you have a day job?
Nope! Unless you count being a student (which is harder than a job in my opinion)
7) How tall are you?
I like to say I'm 5'1, but if you ask the doctor it'd be like 4'11.75
8) Do you have siblings?
Yes I have a younger brother and sister
9) 3 words to describe yourself!
Positive, bubbly, honest
10) Style Icon

I don't really have a set style icon, but I love Kendall and Kylie (maybe kylie a little more)
11) 3 Favorite musicians/bands
Skrillex (I know, weird right!), One Republic (LOVE!), and Karmin
12) 3 Favorite movies
Pitch Perfect (My Fav!), The Lion King, and The Heat
13) 3 Favorite books
The Great Gatsby, Twilight, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
14) 3 random facts
I crack my back literally all the time, I have 37 unread text messages on my phone as of now, and I don't really have a "group" of friends, but I have close friends from many different groups!

So those were my random facts! Please consider answering it because I'd love to get to know some of you better and don't forget to subscribe to this blog for my Christmas Countdown post tomorrow!

Definitely Elf! OMG that is my favorite movie and I love Buddy the Elf so much!
2) Are you on the Naughty or Nice list?
I hope I'm on the nice list!

Honestly, I don't really have one because my family members have to approve the card before its sent out! Haha I think it'd be fun to have a really embarrassing one, though!
4) Have you ever had a White Christmas?
Nope! One of the downsides of living in Hawaii!
5) Where do you usually spend your holiday?
In Hawaii with my friends and family!

My mom's side of the family usually has a big Christmas Eve party, and I'm really excited for that!

Fake!
11) Favorite Holiday food and sweet treat?
My favorite holiday food is ham or turkey! And my favorite sweet treat is either candy canes or caramel brulee fraps from Starbucks!

I honestly love giving gifts and seeing how happy my friends and family are when they open their presents!
13) Show us your tackiest Christmas attire!
I don't have any! I had a really gross christmas shirt, but I threw it out a few months ago!
14) What would be your dream place to visit for the holidays?
Probably like Tahoe or Utah or somewhere with snow! I've never been skiing, but it sounds like fun!

I usually do a dish with yams! Last year I went all professional and like roasted them myself, but this year I opened a can and poured marshmallows on it!
16) Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail?
If its a square or rectangle, I can manage, but when it gets into crazy circles and cylinders, I cant handle!

On Christmas eve when I was like 5ish my dad dressed up as santa claus! That is pretty hard to forget lol!

I dont really know! I don't think there was one day when I just realized it, but I think that I out grew it? I actually have no idea!
19) Do you make New Years Resolutions? Do you stick to them?
I always make them, but I almost never stick to them!
20) What makes the Holidays special for you?
My friends and family! I love the parties and the gifts and the whole atmosphere and I truly feel that the holidays brings out the best in people!

So that was a long tag! But those were my answers! If you'd like to do this tag, please leave me a link in the comments and also leave suggestions for more Christmas Countdown posts in the comments! Don't forget to check out my other blog for more Christmas Countdown posts!

Christmas Countdown Day 4: My Christmas Decor

Hey guys!
So this post will be all about my christmas decor! It'll be kind of long, so I'll get right into it!

This is my Christmas Tree! It is fake and it has both white and colored lights in it! My family does a lot of the decorating so we have a wide array of ornaments on it, but disney ones are a recurring trend on the tree! Also, instead of a star or a angel, we have Tinkerbell! Haha we really do love our disney in my house!

This is right above my couch. It is just a couple strands of white lights and a fabric christmas wreath that we've had for forever!

Advent calendars are big in my house! This one's mine and I actually made it from a kit the other year and I love it! We also have a little wooden Santa behind it and a picture of my sister and santa next to it!
Our stockings! I kind of want to spread it out more, but we all have ones from when we were little and although our family all has different ones, they fit each of us really well! I'm minnie mouse by the way :D

Haha another advent calendar! This ones my sister's! It's nutcracker themed and she loves it so much!

So that was my christmas decor! Make sure to check out my other blog tomorrow for a new Christmas Countdown post and follow this blog!

Christmas Countdown Day 2! Date Bar Recipe!

Hey guys!
So it's Christmas Countdown time! I already did an intro to this series on my other blog, which I'll link here, but the general idea is that I'll be posting here every other day and on my other blog every other day Christmas related things! So for the first post, I have a yummy date bar recipe! I know that a lot of bake sales happen around this time of the year, and I wanted to share with you something I've been loving!

So these bars are so delicious because they taste like caramel cuts (blondies) and lemon bars combined! It has a really delicious taste and smell, and you can be glad you're getting in a little bit of fruit! So here's the recipe!

Crust
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour

Mix until crumbly and press evenly into a 9X9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees (Fahrenheit) for 10 minutes.

Filling
1/3 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped dates
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Mix together flour, baking powder and salt and set aside.
Beat eggs, brown sugar, and dates and blend well.
Add flour mixture, vanilla and nutes.
Spread over crust and bake for 30 more minutes!

So how easy is that! If you try this out, let me know how it turned out! Also, let me know if you want more recipes in the comments because I have lots to share!

Inspirational Quotes of the Week #7

Hey everyone!
So I have another inspirational quotes of the week post! I am so excited for this weeks post because I have some wonderful quotes to share with you guys! As always, if you have any quotes that you've been loving, leave it in a comment because I'd love to read it! So let's get started!

Haha rhyming quotes are my favorite! But this quote is so true and I'm a big believer in "whatever happens, happens for a reason" and this totally is like the same thing!

Random, but I just read my "horoscope for 2014" in a magazine and it said that I'd be extra cheerful this coming year and I saw this quote and fell in love! It is really true, though, that you have to be optimistic in life!

What would this post be without a christmas quote? But really, this is one of my favorite christmas songs and I love it!

So those were my inspirational quotes of the week! Let me know yours in the comments below and don't forget to subscribe for more posts!

Dirty Secrets TAG

Hey everyone!
I recently found this tag and I thought it would be fun to do! If you are young or if you don't want to read about my dirty secrets, please check out another post on this blog, but if you want to hear my answers to this tag, read on!

1) what was your first cuss word?
"crap" was my first bad word that I said, but some people don't really count that as a "swear word" so if you don't then it would be "sh!t".
2) what was your first r-rated movie?
I don't know exactly, but maybe the Hangover?
3) who was your first kiss?
Just a guy that I went to school with. I don't want to put names just for the sake of privacy.
4) what do you wear to sleep?
Underwear and a V neck shirt.
5) have you ever seen your parents doing it?
Nope!
6) have you ever cheated?
Never!
7) what kind of undies do you wear?
It depends on the day, but usually hipsters or cheekies.
8) have you ever pooped your pants?
Not since I've been potty trained!
9) have you ever had a fantasy dream about a celebrity?
Not that I remember, but maybe!
10) what's your favorite feature on your crush or significant other?
Eyes or build. Like I like athletic guys that are toned, but not overly body buildery ripped.

So that was my answers to the dirty secrets tag! If you are comfortable answering these questions (or even one question), leave your answers in the comments because I would love to see it!

Counting Stars - One Republic
Love, love, love this song! It's so good and I cant believe that its taken me so long to find it! I bet this is a song that everyone will love!

Feel Again - One Republic
Lol another One Republic song! But I've been loving to listen to them a lot recently! This song is also very amazing and I've been listening to this a lot today (actually I'm listening to it now as I write this post!)

Let Her Go - Passenger
This song has like the saddest lyrics, but I love how relaxing and soothing it is!

Brokenhearted - Karmin
I feel like I include this song in every post! Haha but its my jam, my lady jam (pitch perfect reference!). But really this song is amazingness!

So those were my music favorites of the moment! Let me know what yours are in the comments below!

Be Thankful

Hi lovelies!
It is thanksgiving tomorrow (I'm writing this late wednesday night) and I wanted to share with you guys some thoughts and reflections that I've been having. I think that this year, more than any other year, I've grown up emotionally and mentally and I think that its time that I recognize and thank the people in my life that I take for granted. I know a lot of other people do it too, but I realize that I don't take time to tell the people I love how I feel, and I expect them to be mind readers or something! So although like nobody that I'm really close to knows about this blog, I'll thank them here (and in person tomorrow!) and hopefully I'll inspire you guys to thank the important people in your life!

Parents/Grandparents
These are the "moral support" system in my life. I think that my parents especially have been feeling the extra pressure because college is on the horizon and although I haven't been seeing eye to eye with them on many things regarding my future, I am still very thankful for the education and life they've given me.
Siblings
I truly believe that siblings are the people who get what you're going through the best. Although friends get your school life, siblings get what you're going though at home with your parents and all of that (at least if you're my age) and they are another great support system!
That Friend
Yes that friend that you can tell anything to, who you rant to at 2 am in the morning, who will drop everything to be by your side. I don't know who this person is for you, but I know that I have 3 very good friends like this :D
The Other Friends
The friends who make you live life to the fullest. Who make you a better person, fill you with energy, and all that! I challenge you to thank as many of these friends as you can on thanksgiving!
Your Spouse/BF/GF (If Applicable)
Haha this isn't applicable to me at all! But if you have one, thank them for loving you how you love them :D
Advisors/Teachers/Trusted Adults
Whoever these people are, you should thank them for being there for you when you're in need. These people guide you through the rough patches in life and are a role model for who you aspire to be!

So I know that this list isn't complete, but its what I thought was important! If I'm missing anything big (which I probably am saying its like 11 at night), leave it in a comment! Also, a big thank you to all of you reading this blog because it literally amazes me that people care about me, my life, my ideas, and it gives me such an amazing feeling that I love!
Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving!

So Sore!

Hey guys!
So I had gymnastics yesterday and I was working on my standing tucks for literally like an hour straight! I was doing them off of a panel mat onto a foam mat by myself! It was so I wouldn't hurt if I ate it on my face because I can't land it right, but it was on a flat surface so it was still sort of the same thing! But today I woke up and I'm so sore! My abs hurt from the action of "tucking" because literally that's all abs! But then my back hurts too and so does my neck! Its so crazy and I've been popping the pills today! Haha this is such a random post and I have no clue why I'm writing it, but that's a little update on my life today! I'll try to post more things like these because I think its fun to give you guys little sneak peaks into my life!

Inspirational Quotes of the Week #6

Hey guys!
So this past week has been wonderful for me and I have felt really happy for the first time in a while. I am so excited for this post and to share some of my amazing finds with you guys! So lets get started!

I just realized that this is the only "inspirational" quote on the list! But this is so true and I think that its important for us to take action rather than stay sedentary because action leads to achievement and laziness leads to competency.

One of my best guy friends was texting me the other day and was like, "why were you so happy this week?" and I was like, "I'm just a naturally happy person!" and this quote totally matches with what I was saying! Plus it's the official start of the holidays this week, so its so appropriate!

This is just a really cute quote! I saw it and was like, "awwww!" I just love this quote because I am such a romantic at heart!

So those were my inspirational quotes of the week! Let me know what yours are in the comments below and don't forget to follow this blog for more life updates!

Hey everyone!
I was tagged by Madeline from Wonderland in a Wardrobe to do the 25 Random Question TAG! Last time you've cried?
A month ago when I had a slight breakdown. I did a post on it, which I'll link here if you'd like to read all about it! BTW that post is really hard for me to read and it probably doesn't make that much sense, but I am totally not normally like that and I'm completely better now!
What is your perfect pizza topping?
Cheese+Pepperoni+Mushrooms = Heaven! I really don't like pizza hut pizza though, like Papa Johns is 1000X better!

Top 5 Tips: How to Deal with DRAMA

Hey everyone!
So this post really hits close to me right now because there is a lot of drama going on in my life! A lot of it has to do with a frienemy, cheerleading, and my best friends and I thought it would be super helpful to share with you guys my top 5 tips on how to deal with drama!

1) Hang out with friends (like actual friends)
So what I've been doing is because a lot of my drama is happening with the cheerleaders on my squad, I've been hanging out with a lot of other people! I have been hanging out with some new people that I don't really know that well, some bffs, and other people! You want to surround yourselves with people who make you happy, so by hanging around people you actually like, you'll feel instantly better!
2) Lay low!
This is one of the tips that a guy friend gave me. He told me to avoid a couple who I am friends with (both the guy and the girl are my friends) while they go through their relationship drama so that I am not forced to pick sides! The best way to deal with drama, is to minimize being in the drama!
3) Vent!
I vent about drama, gossip about drama, and chat about my frustrations in general literally ALL THE TIME! Venting totally makes me feel better and its better to let your emotions out than keeping it in!
4) Prioritize
This is a big one because especially if you are still in school (middle and high school especially) drama can feel like your life! It can totally take over your mind and make you procrastinate over some more important things! I try to prioritize and leave room to vent and chat about the stuff going on, but I also know my priorities and try to spend my time on the important stuff!
5) Don't drag yourself into it! (unless you must)
This is a hard tip, but I think that it makes sense! There are people who like to be the attention, and its no problem if you're one of these people! But if you are trying to deal with the drama, it really isn't the smartest thing to go around gossiping and spreading rumors! With that being said, if people are talking smack about you, I'm all for confrontation, but think about whether its worth it to drag yourself into the drama!

So those were my top 5 tips! Let me know your tips for dealing with drama in the comments below and don't forget to follow this blog for more nutrition, fitness, and life posts!

Inspirational Quotes of the Week #5

Hey everyone!
I am so sorry that I didn't get my inspirational quotes of the week post up last week, but I have this weeks one here for you! I found these quotes on pinterest and I thought that these were very inspirational and I really liked them once I read them so here they are!

I love this quote so much because it's really true! At school right now there is a lot of drama that I am trying my dang hardest to stay out of because drama leads to sadness, madness, craziness and it is a proven fact that the happy girls are the prettiest!

This quote is so true! I can't believe how many times friends or people I go to school with make the same mistakes with their relationships, schoolwork, life and this quote really sums everything that I think up!

Another quote that I love! This quote doesn't have a personal meaning or story to go along with it, but I just saw this quote and I was like, "Hell Yeah!" because this quote is true and makes sense!

So those were my 3 inspirational quotes of the week! Let me know what your favorite quotes are in the comments below and don't forget to follow this blog!

You Can Make A Difference (Philippines Typhoon)

Hey everyone!
So this is a serious topic, but one that is near and dear to my heart. As you guys probably have heard, there was a crazy typhoon in the Philippines last week. There were initial estimates that 10,000 people have died, but the official tally is only around 2,000, which is still a hell of a lot of people. This is very near to my heart because although I am not Filipino (I'm Japanese and Okinawan fwi), I live in Hawaii, and I know a lot of people who have family in the Philippines and are personally affected by this tragedy. One friend told me that she doesn't even know if her cousin is alive because they don't have a lot of usable phones because they were destroyed in the houses. I'm not saying all this to try and get you to donate, but I would really appreciate it if you would because every bit of money, support, and love we can give to them, would be amazing. I'll link the red cross page here for you guys if you'd like to donate money, which would be amazing. But if you don't have the means to donate some money, please keep these men and women in your thoughts because they are going through something unfathomable to me and we need to pray for their health and safety.
