Let's recap the day

Hey everyone!
So it's time for another let's recap the day post. Let's get started.
I didn't start school until 8:30 today, which was a nice break considering I usually start every day at 7:30. I had a lot of breaks today, which was also nice, and it allowed me to get some of my homework done during school! I had yoga later today, and I really enjoyed that. I got back the history test that I took last week and I got a 71/80 on it, which I thought was really good! It was an 89% and it was above the class average of 84%. At home, I made a facebook page for this blog and the other blog! (search livelovemakeup14 on facebook) and I started brainstorming some ideas for my other blog!

Funniest moment: Didn't really have any today :(

Best part of the day: getting a good score on that history test! It's amazing when you feel like you're going to do bad, but then do good!

Worst part of the day: My sister is sick and is barfing right now. It is just terrible to see her so sick!

Health and fitness of the day

Hey everyone!
It's time for another health and fitness of the day post! Let's get started.

What I ate today:
Life cereal
Strawberry smoothie
Pear
Pasta salad
1/2 redvine
Turkey
1/2 piece cornbread
Rice & mashed potatoes
Pound cake with strawberries
So today was a very starch based day with the rice, pasta, potatoes, bread, and cake. That's okay, but I think that I need to try and get more fats and protein into my diet tomorrow because that is what gives you longer lasting energy because carbohydrates burn off faster!

My fitness today:
I had yoga today. We started working on some twists and a variation on a sun salutation that had a chaturanga in it. Those are surprisingly difficult to do! I think that doing a ton of those helped my arm strength. We also worked on some core postures like planks that really helped my strength!

Let's recap the day

So I had math at 7:30 again. That wasn't that fun, but we were doing some drawings, which I think was pretty easy and different. One of my friends brought me a starbucks to chem. This was really good because it made my chem class better! I got my quiz back and I got a perfect on it :D but it was a really easy quiz so I kind of thought I was going to do well on it. I also got my grades thus far and I am currently getting an A-, which makes me very happy :D In spanish we made some goo/slime with glue and borax, which was really fun and we also got to do some history reenactments! I had gym later, but you can read that in my health and fitness of the day post. 

Funniest moment: One of my friends was "sick" or pretending to be sick so we sent him an ecard from a girl who likes him, but he doesn't like. It was kind of a joke and I think that it was soooo funny!

Best part of the day: getting my starbucks and getting a perfect on my chem quiz!

Worst part of the day: having math at 7:30. At least I don't have it tomorrow!

Health and fitness of the day

Hey everyone!
So it's time for another health and fitness of the day post! So let's get started.

What I ate today:
Chobani Strawberry yogurt
Caramel macchiatto 
Broccoli and chicken

2 mini brownies
So I think that this was a really good day. The chobani greek yogurt was full of protein so that kept me full until lunchtime without having me snack throughout the morning. I also think that it was okay that I ate the mini brownies and had the caramel macchiatto because that was my indulgence today!

My fitness today:
I had tumbling today. It was good because he finally agreed to spot my roundoff handspring tuck. He said that it was a little low, and not that pretty, but that I had the power and momentum to do it by myself. I think that was pretty good :D

Top 5: songs of the moment

Hey everyone!
So I know it's been a while since I did a top 5 post, so I decided to do one today! These are the songs I've been loving as of right now so here they are!

1) Sweet Nothing (Calvin Harris and Florence Welsh)
I am in love with Florence's voice, and I think that this song is so catchy and fun. I can literally listen to this song 24/7!

2) Thrift Shop (Macklemore and Ryan Lewis) 
This is my jam! If I go to a party and they play this song I get super pumped. It is totally the song I go to if I need to get hyped or excited!

3) This Kiss (Carly Rae Jepson)
I love this song because I think that Carly has a beautiful voice and this song is really catchy!

4) Kiss You (One Direction)
I think this song is really cute and another really catchy song! I am also a huge 1D fan (but not a diehard fan). Also, check out this cover of the song because I also think this is amazing!

5) Let's Have a Kiki (Scissor Sisters)
This song is another really fun song and it's really different. I first heard this song on glee and let me say that although that version was great, the original is 10X better! It's totally my "diva" song :D

Let's recap the day

I don't know about y'all, but sometimes I have those off days where I'm feeling stressed and a tad bit antisocial. Well, today was one of those days for me. I started off my day with math at 7:30, which let's be honest is not that fun. Even worse, we got our math test back and I got 18/32. Yup that's right, I got 14 questions wrong. Then I had a history lecture, which wasn't that bad because I could zone out when I wanted to. Then I had a break. I wasn't really feeling like talking to people, so I just sat down at a bench and did some homework that's due tomorrow. Then I had english and spanish, which were okay. Not good, not bad, just okay. Then I was done with school. I still had 1 1/2 hours until I was getting picked up so I did more homework and was honestly kind of a loner, but hey, we all have these days :D

Funniest moment: Didn't really have any :(

Best part of the day: Getting some homework done at school because if I didn't do that, I would have had a huge @$$ load of homework tonight!

Worst part of the day: My math test score. But we're getting a curve for this test tomorrow, so I still have some hope!

Health and fitness of the day

Hey everyone!
So it's time for another health and fitness of the day post so let's get started.

What I ate today:
Pound cake with strawberries, bananas, and whipped cream

So overall, it was a pretty bad day. My parents made breakfast for me so although it isn't the healthiest thing, I felt a little obliged to eat it because they took the time to make it. Once again, my parents leave no leftovers in the fridge for me to take for lunch so I had to search through the fridge and the only thing that I could take was this piece of pizza. My dinner was really yummy because it was hawaiian food and that is seriously like one of my favorite types of food along with japanese :D

My fitness today:
I was really sore from gymnastics yesterday so I didn't exercise because I didn't want to injure myself or make myself more sore for tumbling tomorrow.

Outfit of the day: what I wear to gymnastics

Hey everyone!
So I just wanted to do a quick outfit of the day post on what I wear to gymnastics because I thought it would be fun to do! So here it is!

My top is a tie dye shirt that I made at camp in 6th grade or something like that. I am wearing a sports bra that is Champion brand and I think that I got it at target. My spandies are from Asics I think and they are black and boring and the shorts that I am wearing are Soffe brand and are the royal blue color.

Let's recap the day

Hey everyone!
So it's time for another let's recap the day post. It was not a very interesting day, but I'll go through it anyways. 
I woke up at 7:30 today and I had gymnastics. It was pretty intense, but you can read about that in this post. I had a haircut later and I got around an inch off of my hair, but I kept the same style (long layers). Then I went home and watched the oscars. That was my super boring day!

Funniest moment: At gym my friends coined a term "pulling a Sisi" and it's when you miss when someone does a new trick or something really cool. 

Best part of the day: Watching the oscars. I love award shows!

Worst part of the day: After gymnastics I had a huge headache because we were doing lots of exercises that made you land flat on your back and it put lots of impact on my head.

Health and fitness of the day

What I ate today:
crescent rolls w/ jelly
rice
portuguese sausage
salad with italian dressing
cheeseburger
fries
icee
tacos (beef, tomato, lettuce, salsa, cheese)
So overall, this was a pretty okay day. I got some vegetables in with my salad and in my tacos. I also ate some bad things such as the icee and the crescent rolls, but it was good and I think that it is okay to indulge in what you want!

My fitness today:
So I had gymnastics today. It was an intense class and it was really hard. We were doing tons of over rotated roundoff drills and because I was the only one in the class that could do the drill, I had to do more than I should have because I had to "demonstrate" a lot. I also did some roundoff handspring tucks, which I think are getting better. I was able to do it myself, but I still got some spots because I wanted to increase the height in it.

Let's recap the day

Hey everyone! 
So today was an interesting day so let's get started.
I woke up at 8 today and this morning was great. I got to watch southland and dance moms and that was really good. Southland was especially good :D Then I went shopping with one of my friends. I bought a lot of makeup and you can see the hauls on my other blog (www.livelovemakeup14.blogspot.com). This shopping trip was crazy because my friends started telling me about all sorts of crazy stuff that our friends do. To read more about that click here. That was craziness! I wrote some blog posts for my other blog that's going to go up later this week. Then I watched some basketball at home and had a couple drinks and that was basically my night!

Funniest moment: Finding out that some of the most innocent looking people in my group of friends are potheads and drunks. It was craziness! 

Best part of the day: I thought that the drink I made was really good today. It was ice, beer, and strawberries and tasted really good because it cut through the icky beer taste and made it sweeter and tastier.

Worst part of the day: My day was pretty good! I don't think that there was a "worst" part of the day.

Health and fitness of the day

It's time for another health and fitness of the day post so let's get started.

What I ate today:
Pancake

So today was a terrible day health wise. I had a frap, which wasn't the healthiest, but was really yummy. I had alcohol later (beer), which I know I'm underage and whatever and it's illegal, but I was really stressed and I needed something to unwind. Fitness today:
I was busy shopping all day and it was raining so I didn't get a chance to go outside and exercise. That's okay because I have gymnastics tomorrow so I can get some exercise in then.

the secret life of a private highschooler

Hey everyone!
So if you are going to leave bad comments or are going to get offended with the topics of underage drinking and drugs and sex then x out and go read something else. Otherwise let's get started.
I went shopping with one of my friends today and she is a hard core partier. She is a little bit looser than me and has hooked up with 2 guys in our group of friends. We were talking today and the topic of drugs/alcohol came up. Apparently one of our friends (let's call him Bob) is a pothead. It's so weird because he looks nerdy and dorky and doesn't look like a pothead at all. Apparently another person in my group of friends is also a pothead. Then I found out later that another person I know is a drug dealer. Let's call him Tom. Tom deals drugs to everyone, but this really isn't a surprise because it's pretty well known within my grade that he is a drug dealer. There is a girl in my grade (Kara) who apparently gives Tom blowjobs at school for her drugs. It's so crazy because I had no clue about all of this! Like I knew people did drugs, but I didn't know all of these details! There's also a lot of drinking at my school. Like Bob is a hardcore drinker too and at all of the parties we go to he spikes the drinks with alcohol (vodka). I don't really have any problems with the drinking because sometimes when I am having off days I need some alcohol to mellow me out! Like right now I am having a blended drink with beer, ice, and strawberries. It is so good because the strawberries helps get rid of the icky beer taste (sooo not my drink). I guess theres a group of "purists" in my group of friends too that don't drink and are 100% against drugs. These friends also don't deal with us drinking/doing drugs well because they "shun" the people that do stuff for like weeks or something. Then the friend that told me about the potheads and stuff then told me that she "hooked up with Bob" when they were both high. I guess he couldn't get an erection though so they actually ended up only making out LOL. But really, I had no idea that all of this was happening.
So please don't leave negative comments below because I will delete them if they are inappropriate or critical of me and my friends. Also, keep in mind that I only drink like once every 2 months or something like that and that I don't do drugs.

Let's recap the day

Hey everyone!
It's time for another lets recap the day post. Instead of having a math lesson at 7:30 today, I had a math test. It was so freaking hard! I skipped so many questions and guessed on them at the end because I didn't have time to retry them. I then had a chem quiz, which wasn't that bad. It started pouring so I couldn't hang out in my normal area and had to go into a building. I also got soaked BTW. I had english and we were doing some artsy projects. It was fun! So that was all the interesting parts of school. Also, I had orch today and someone took the folder of music that me and my stand partner used! It was so crazy! BTW we got new stand partners and I <3 mine! She's the coolest and we really don't play that much in orchestra anymore!

Funniest moment: Realizing that someone "stole" our orchestra folder because we were like "whoops! guess we can't play ;)"

Best part of the day: Watching the lakers win tonight! Kobe bryant was freaking amazing tonight even though Dwight and Steve weren't having the best night.

Worst part of the day: I was watching my school basketball team (varsity boys) play against another school for a tournament and one of the guys in my grade scored a 3 pointer, which pushed them into overtime, but they still didn't win :( Personally, I blame it on the coach!!!

Health and fitness of the day

What I ate today:

So overall, today was a pretty okay day. I had my dessert for breakfast (chocolate cake) and I got some fruits in with my pear! I think that it was a hard day because my dad made shoyu pork for dinner tonight and it smelled really good, but I couldn't eat it because it's a red meatless friday! I'll just eat it for breakfast tomorrow. :D

Fitness today:
I didn't get any fitness in today because my back is still really sore from all of the spinal twists in yoga yesterday. It was really sore and I didn't want to push myself too hard today! That's okay though because it's good to have a rest day after a weight lifting day!

Battle scars: bruises on hips

Hey everyone!
So I wanted to do another quick battle scar bruise post. I got a small bruise on my hip the other day because I ran into a counter corner and hit my hip hard on it. It doesn't hurt too badly, but it just bothered me when I tried to put on my pants this morning LOL!

Health and fitness of the day

Hey everyone!

What I ate today:
smoothie (peach and banana)
caramel macchiato
rice
korean food (leftovers)
strawberry fruit bar (popsicle) 
redvines
shrimp pasta
salad
toast
ice cream cake
So it wasn't the healthiest with the strawberry fruit bar, redvines, and ice cream cake. It had a lot more dessert than I probably should have, but on the bright side I got my fruits in my smoothie and I got my vegetables in my salad. Also, I got some good nutrients because of the shrimp in my pasta! Tomorrow, will be a lot healthier because it is another friday and you know what that means! No red meat friday!!!

My fitness:
I did an hour of yoga today because I had yoga at school for PE. It was good, we worked on some standing postures and some spinal twists. I really liked the spinal twists because I really felt it stretching me! At home, I also did some weight lifting for my arms using free weights. I used 12 pound dumbells and I did some shoulder presses, tricep presses, and bicep curls. I also did some oblique stuff using one of the weights. So I did pretty good today, I think.

Let's recap the day

Hey everyone!
So today wasn't the greatest day, so if you want to read about my "bad" day, keep reading! 
So I had math at 7:30 today, which wasn't the greatest. We're learning about arcs and stuff still and I am so confused with it. That's when I knew it was not going to be a good day. Then I met with my chem teacher even though I didn't have class today because we have a quiz tomorrow and I didn't understand what to do. Lucky for me, one of my friends brought me a coffee from starbucks this morning, so that made everything a little more bearable! I had yoga later and that was really good and that stuff. Later I had history. We had a test. I thought the test was going to be a little multiple choice, a few short answer and an essay because that's what he told us. No, there was a little multiple choice, a heck of a lot of short answer and the essay. The short answer section was so long and it took almost all of my time so I only had 15 minutes to do my essay! And it was supposed to be a 5 paragraph essay! So in all honesty, I think I got a B- at best on that test, but I don't really know. I think its one of those tests where you think you do bad, but you don't actually do as badly as you think.

Funniest moment: I didn't have any today :(

Best part of the day: Starbucks!!!! I love my caramel macchiatos :D

Worst part of the day: No surprise, my history test :(

Let's recap the day: school with a killer on the loose

Hey everyone!
Today started off good, but ended up pretty $H!!TY. So let's get started...


I had math at 7:30, but that was actually bearable today! It was one of those days where you wake up and your like "I actually feel rested and good this morning!" Then I had chem, which wasn't that fun because a lot of people were absent. I also found out today that we have a test on Friday, so that's going to be fun :( I had a spanish test later and that was okay because we reviewed right before the test and I knew most of what the test covered. There was a killer loose today in Hawaii and it seemed like my school was the only school that wasn't on lockdown! He was apparently a murderer that was supposed to go to court, but escaped. Everyone freaked out because he was on the loose and we didn't know where he was. He was finally caught at 8 tonight so that's good. I had history today and torpedo was funny as usual. Our teacher was making weird noises as he was lecturing us and torpedo said, "it sounds like a donkey having sex with a sheep" Like where does he come up with this stuff?!? It was my dad's birthday today and that was all good until my brother and mom start fighting. I said something to my brother and he started losing it because he has issues and as I was walking to my bedroom I said, "what a bitch" and my mom lost it. She was crazy at me. So that was my day in a nutshell. 

Funniest moment: "it sounds like a donkey having sex with a sheep!" it was so funny because today was a pretty serious class and it was nice having that little interlude of funny in it!

Best part of the day: the killer on the loose. It sounds totally cynical that I am happy a killer is on the loose, but sometimes its the little crazy things that make life enjoyable and everything like that. 

Worst part of the day: having my mom go coo-coo at me!

Health and fitness of the day

Hey everyone! 
It's time for another health and fitness of the day post. 

What I ate today:
ramen with egg and spam
diet coke
chocolate chip muffin
tonkatsu
rice
chocolate cake
smoothie
korean food
rice
more cake
So today was really unhealthy. I had a lot of baked goods (cake and muffins)! That wasn't too good. I also didn't get enough vegetables or fruits today, but I got a smoothie so I had 2 servings of fruits or so. Hopefully tomorrow I can get in more vegetables and fruits, but let's be honest, that's probably not going to happen. :D

My fitness today:
I did a little bit (10 minutes or so) of stationary biking and a little bit of fun stuff like handstands and riding around on a scooter. I don't know how "fitnessy" this was and how much it is going to do for me, but at least I did a little bit, right?

Health and fitness of the day

Hey everyone!
It is time for another health and fitness of the day post! So I ate pretty badly today because it was my mom's birthday and we had some good food! But I also got some exercise in because I had yoga today. So let's get started.

What I ate today:
Cereal
Granola bar
Rice
Chicken nuggets (dinosaur shaped!!!)
Salad
Rice
Chicken Katsu
Chocolate Cake
Little bit of chocolate ice cream
So overall it wasn't good, but wan't that bad. I got some vegetables in with my salad, but the rest of the food I ate were starchy carbs and protein. I am going to try and fit in more fruit tomorrow with a smoothie as part of my breakfast, but I don't know how well I'll eat tomorrow because it's my dad's birthday, which means more good food and cake!

My fitness today:
I had yoga today. It was pretty good because it was a lot of linking together different poses, which really starts to work some of your muscles. I did a lot of sun salutations, which was good because it started to stretch out my back, but I feel like my back is going to be stiff tomorrow! We also did some sitting postures that helped to stretch the hamstrings. So an hour of yoga was my only fitness today, but hopefully I can get more exercise in tomorrow!

Let's recap the day

I'm baaack!
So it's time for another let's recap the day post. First, I did a post on my other channel about my mom's favorite skincare and beauty products so if you want to check that out, click here. So I know I've been MIA for the last few days, but I'm back now so let's get started!
Today was the first school day of the week, which is great because I love 4 day school weeks! I didn't start until 8:30 when I had orchestra. A lot of people in the cello section were on trips or ditched the class so there were only 7 of us instead of 14 or so. I had yaga later today, but I'll write more about that in my health and fitness of the day post. I also had history. It was so boring because we were watching a movie the whole time. It was on Buddhism and one of the kids in my class (torpedo of course!) wrote a transcript of everything that the narrator said in the movie because he thought he needed to know it for an upcoming test. It was pretty hilarious watching him write it all down! Today was my mom's birthday and I forgot about it! In the morning, no one said happy birthday to her, so I guess it made me forget too! But really, my brother, sister, and grandpa all forgot her birthday, but in my defense, I texted her at 9:00 when I remembered!

Funniest moment: When my teacher said "torpedo are you really making a transcript of the movie" and when torpedo said yes, we all started laughing because we didn't need to know what the movie said word for word, but rather just the general idea of it. 

Best part of the day: It makes me sound like a total fatty, but dinner tonight was soooo yummy! It was tonkatsu and rice and then we had chocolate cake. I love when we have birthdays because it means we get good food! Tomorrow is my dad's birthday and we're getting an ice cream cake and korean food!!!

Worst part of the day: Forgetting my mom's birthday. I felt so bad and I can't believe I did that! Usually I'm really good with dates and remembering these things.

Battle Scars: bruised ankles

Hey everyone!
So I am not going to do a lets recap the day or a health and fitness of the day post because I'm just not feeling it today. But this post is going to be on one of my recent "battle scars". If you don't know, a battle scar is something that the cheerleaders at my school call a bruise or an injury that is a result of trying something new or through something cheer related. 
Yesterday at gymnastics, I was doing roundoff handspring tucks and my ankles kept hitting each other during my back handsprings. It was painful, but about an hour later a bruise started to form. Now on my left ankle, I have a bruise the size of quarter. It is extremely tender and painful and I am soooo not looking forward to cheer tomorrow!

So in my let's recap the day post I already said this, but I thought that it was worth repeating. I am not going to be able to post on this blog until monday so just be aware of that and if you don't see any new posts tomorrow that's why!

What I ate today:

So overall, this was a bad day. it was very unhealthy. I had my period today and it was heavy so my hormones are at weird levels so I was craving lots of unhealthy foods and I didn't have the will power to restrict myself. We all have these days, honestly, and I don't think it's that big of a deal that I ate like a pig today! LOL

My fitness:
I didn't exercise today because I was going to, but my flow was heavy and I had really bad cramps so I didn't want to overexert myself and make them worse.

Let's recap the day

Hey everyone!
So before I get into the post, I just wanted to let you know that I won't be posting on this blog until monday because I am going to a hotel and I won't have access to internet until monday when I get back home. I can post daily recaps for the days that I am missing or I can just start back up on monday. Let me know in the comments what you would rather see!

So today was a boring day. I'm going to be honest, I wasn't feeling that good because I had my period and it was pretty heavy today. So I didn't want to go out. I didn't want to exercise. I just wanted to watch tv. So I woke up at 6:45 because I knew that I was leaking so I got up and did my stuff and went back to sleep until 8. My parents were out because my brother had an ortho appointment and my sister had ballet so I was home alone. I had breakfast and watched the following. I like that tv show although idk how long its going to last because its not that interesting and is a little bit complicated. Then I did some homework because I knew that I wouldn't have time to do it tomorrow or monday because I'm going to a hotel. I watched some glee and dance moms and packed for the hotel. I had lunch and took a nap because getting up early and falling back asleep messed me up a little bit. There was a power outage, which I don't get because we have solar panels so shouldn't that prevent us from getting power outages? If you can explain this to me please leave it in the comments! Then I watched more tv and scheduled some blogs for my other blog (www.livelovemakeup14.blogspot.com) for when I'm at the hotel. I watched some of the NBA dunk contest, which was freaking amazing btw and ate dinner. After that I watched more tv. 

Funniest moment: I got a text from one of my friends. Me and my other friend sent her a flower from a boy that she likes as a joke because we're friends with the boy and wanted to mess with her. She sent me a weird intense text back that was full of wtf moments. It was pretty funny reading! 


Best part of the day: I got to play with my sister a lot today. Usually I am really busy so I don't get a lot of time to play/talk with her, but I babysat a little bit and we go to hang out! The picture is a picture of the fort/house that we made!

Worst part of the day: having my period. Nuff said.

Let's recap the day

Hey everyone! 
So it's time for another lets recap the day post. Today wasn't that interesting, but let's get into it anyways.
So I had math at 7:30 again. I know that I told you all yesterday that I thought that I did good on the math test, but didn't know since I didn't get the curve. It turns out that I did pretty bad, actually. I got 27/32, which was pretty good because the rest of my class got 8 or 9 wrong. I thought that I was going to get an A- or B+ with the curve, which I would have been fine with. Nope. I got a B. :( Then I had chem. That was boring because it wasn't anything interesting. BTW we also got our grades so far in the class and I'm getting a B+! Its not the best, and some of my friends would be pissed with that grade, but I think that its good and I actually am proud of that grade! :D I had spanish later and we were playing vocab word games. We were playing a version of taboo and it was really difficult because I didn't study the words before the game, which I should have. It was really embarrassing! I had orchestra later as my last class of the day. All of the cello section except for 5 of us were on trips or absent or ditching class or something like that. It was fun though because I got to talk to someone that I maybe have a little crush on and I got to sit in the front of orchestra rather than the back!

Funniest moment: I was watching the celeb basketball game with my dad because we had recorded it and I thought that Kevin Hart was so funny! I also thought that Arnie should have won MVP even though Kevin won it. 

Best part of the day: I think the best part of the day was orchestra because it's always fun talking to someone you like!

Worst part of the day: Spanish was super embarrassing! Everyone knew the words except me and it was very weird being the only one that didn't know the right words!

Health and fitness of the day

So its time for another health and fitness of the day post! I am giving up red meat on Friday's for lent, so today was a red meatless friday!

What I ate:

apple
cereal
chinese chicken salad
mint chip ice cream
smoothie (banana chocolate)
rice
salmon
chicken
red velvet macaroon
So today wasn't the healthiest with the ice cream and the macaroon. This might be TMI but I got my period today, which explains all the ice cream cravings that I have been having. I totally crave ice cream all the time, but I do it more during "that time of the month". I think that it was also a good day because the salmon is healthy and I needed to get some Omega 3 acids!

My fitness:
So I wasn't feeling the best today, so I didn't exercise. Once again, I was really tired today like I didn't get enough sleep or something like that. My back has also been out of wack since tumbling and yoga on tuesday! It was really sore and felt tight all day so I didn't want to strain it again! I'll bike or something tomorrow, though.

Peach and Banana smoothie recipe

Hey everyone!
So if you read my health and fitness of the day posts you know that I drink a lot of smoothies! One of my new favorites is a peach and banana smoothie that I make. So here is my recipe!
Ingredients: 
orange juice
ice cubes
frozen peaches
banana
apple (skinned and sliced)

So to start I put the ice cubes at the bottom of my blender. I have a hamilton beach blender that is perfect for me because it makes a single serving. I then add the frozen peaches (4 or 5 of them) and add the banana on top of that. I add in half an apple or maybe even the whole one depending on how much I want to put in. I take the skin off because otherwise it can get a little weird textured. I put orange juice in halfway up and I put the lid on and blend it!

Health and fitness of the day

What I ate today:
cereal
salad

a little bit of meatloaf

So it wasn't the healthiest day, but that's okay! It was valentine's day! I'll eat healthy tomorrow to make up for it. BTW I'm giving up meat (red meat) on fridays during lent so tomorrow will be a beefless friday!

My fitness:
Non existant. I didn't exercise today, which is okay because there are so many better things to do on valentine's day than exercise, right? But really, I think that I would rather eat or watch television than exercise and thats okay once in a while. I'll exercise tomorrow!

Let's recap the day

Hey guys! Happy valentine's day! So let's get into the day.
I had math at 7:30 again. I got my test back and although we didn't get a curve yet, I think that I did good on it. I had some other classes that wasn't that interesting. In advisory, we got rose grams and I got one from an anonymous person. I don't think that its a secret admirer: I think that its one of my friends! I had spanish later on and it was pretty interesting. We had to invent a game that uses vocab words and I was in the group of all guys (except me). They were drawing phallic objects on the whiteboard and I got stuck doing all of the work. Fun. So I came home and I got to eat a really yummy dinner and we went to baskin robins and got ice cream! I got the cherries jubilie fyi. 

Funniest moment: Spanish! I know that I complain about doing all the work, but I have an odd sense of humor so I thought their drawings were funny in the beginning and they started messing with me when they helped because they were supposed to draw circles and I'm super OCD about it and they were drawing it messed up on purpose.

Best part of the day: Ice cream!!! nuff said

Worst part of the day: seeing the lakers lose! Dwight was so off and all of them seemed to give up in the fourth quarter. Also, I thought that Kobe would get kicked out because he was pissed!

Let's recap the day

Hey everyone! So it's only like 7 here, but I don't think that my day is going to get any more interesting or cool than it already is so I'm going to do this post early! Let's get started.
I had math at 7:30 again. Except this time it wasn't just math, it was a math test. I actually thought that it was pretty okay. Like I feel like hopefully I'll do well on this (especially because my last 2 tests were a B and a B-). Then I had chem and I had a test in that class too. It was pretty bad because I feel like he didn't teach us a lot of the things such as polymerization. Then I had a break, which I spent studying for my spanish and history tests. This seems like a fun day, right? Well then I had english which was pretty good. We were just reading and stuff. Then I had spanish. The test wasn't too bad, but then we got put into groups for a project and lucky me, I get stuck in the group of guys. And all of my friends are in a different group! Then I had asian. It was so funny because our teacher told us not to "feed the troll" aka prod torpedo on, but in the end, he was the one that ended up "feeding the troll". I also had orchestra. It was good because me and someone got to talking and it was good because it made class go by faster!

Funniest moment: totally when my teacher started talking to us about "feeding the troll" it was so funny and the weirdest moment!

Best part of the day: um getting home after school and watching last nights dance moms and the lying game! later tonight I'm going to watch pretty little liars too!

Worst part of the day: having 4 tests! It is a rare thing to have 4 tests on the same day and I hope that it never happens again!

Health and Fitness of the day

Hey everyone! 
It's time for another health and fitness of the day post!

What I ate today:
ramen
smoothie (peach banana)
rice
mochiko chicken
rice
pear
pizza rolls
smoothie (banana strawberry)
beef tomato 
rice
So overall, it was a pretty average day. I got a heck of a lot of fruits in with my 2 smoothies and pear, which is good because I love fruits and I think that smoothies seemed especially good today! The chicken and the pizza rolls weren't that healthy, but the rest of my meals (the dinner had soooo many vegetables) were really well balanced and good.

My fitness today:
I was super sore from yesterday. So I didn't get any exercise in. My butt was pretty sore from gymnastics yesterday. I don't really know why, I don't usually get sore there after gym. I was also super sore in my back because of yoga. I am not the hugest fan of the cobra pose!

Let's recap the day

So today was a typical day where I had math at 7:30. That was boring. Who cares about arcs and circles and stuff like that? So then I had a break. My friend brought me a tall iced caramel macchiato from starbucks and that made my day! Then during that looong break me and my friend got to talking about some relationship stuff that I don't really want to write! So... we also started assigning sesame street characters to people in our group of friends to use as "code names". I'm abby caddaby!!! I had yoga today (for more about that check out my health and fitness of the day post) and that was super good and relaxing. Sometimes you just need that time to relax! I had history with torpedo today. It was so funny. We were doing some group discussion things and torpedo got caught up in another class, but because he wasn't it our class it counted as a "ditch" this means that his grade goes down a full level (i.e. A goes down to B) Then he comes into our class like 40 minutes late making a huge ruckus and it was so funny because our teacher was like "great. He came to class." I had tumbling after school today and that was okay. I watched the Lakers vs Suns game tonight and I think that Kobe was having an off night! Like 8 turnovers? Really? But I was glad that Jamison played a lot and I think that in the fourth quarter Metta World Peace was on fire!

Funniest moment: Definitely asian history! Torpedo totally makes the class enjoyable and funny, but our teacher constantly gives us lectures on how we are disorderly and we have productivity issues

Best part of the day: Getting my caramel macchiato!!!

Worst part of the day: Watching the 3rd quarter of the Lakers vs Suns game. It was painful to watch them miss basket after basket!!!

Health and fitness of the day

Hey everyone! So y'all know what time it is: health and fitness of the day time! So let's get started

What I ate today:
pizza
caramel macchiato
rice
orange chicken
broccoli
fruit salad (pineapple, apple, grape)
mochiko chicken
rice
corn
chocolate cake
So today wasn't the healthiest day with the pizza and the orange chicken and the mochiko chicken, but that's okay. I think that its fine to eat what I want to because I got some fruits and vegetables in it too!

My exercise today: 
I had yoga today. It was good, we started doing some back flexibility poses such as the baby cobra, full cobra, and the lotus or was it locus idk but one of those poses. We also started sun salutations. It was pretty difficult because I am not someone who has great back flexibility from the start. After school, I had tumbling. I wanted to work on my roundoff handspring tuck, but my coach today is a newer coach and he didn't want to spot my roundoff handspring tuck because my standing tuck isn't that good. So I was stuck doing standing tucks (spotted) and roundoff multiple back handsprings, which I could already do. :(

Weather update: its freeeeezing

Hi guys so its time for another weather update from sunny rainy hawaii. It is 7 in the morning right now and it is soooo cold. I know that on the mainland it is still really cold, but I'm talking about cold for Hawaii. It's 66°. You guys might laugh when you read this, but I think that it is really cold. I'm used to wearing tank tops and now I actually have to wear jackets too LOL. But the weather has been weird because it looks cloudy and rainy, but by noon it will be super sunny and hot. It's hard to dress myself because I want to wear a jacket and jeans if its going to be cold and rainy, but if it's sunny I want to wear tank tops. It is very confusing. :D So post your weather updates in the comments!

Let's recap the day

Hi everyone! So today was an exciting day so let's get started!
I had math at 7:30 today and today, everyone decided to schedule tests for wednesday. So I guess on wednesday I have a math test, chem test, spanish test, and a history test. That's going to be fun. Just joking! But really, I should start studying. I had other classes but that wasn't that interesting. I had history with torpedo today. It was so funny because he kept writing things and saying things like chode and other inappropriate stuff. It was hilarious. Until my teacher started lecturing us about how we need to learn how to be more productive in class. Today was my sister's birthday so we had a super fun mini party with my family for her tonight. It was just my grandparents and my family and it was fun. We ate chinese food and we had a cake and she got to open presents. I got her a bathing suit from the disney store. It was so adorable. 

Funniest moment: History when torpedo wrote some weird stuff in the google chat again and our teacher saw it. It was hilarious!

Best part of the day: My sister's birthday. It was great seeing her so happy and joyous especially when she opened the present I got for her!

Worst part of the day: learning I'm going to have 4 tests on wednesday :(

So today was my sisters birthday so we ate chinese food for dinner. It was super yummy except there was a worm on one of my bok choi! This hindered my appetite. We had chocolate cake and neopolitan ice cream. It was really good. Especially the cake. :D

My fitness:
I didn't do anything fitness related today. I ate everything today!!! I have gym tomorrow and yoga too so I'll get some fitness in there tomorrow :D

Let's recap the day

Hey everyone!
So today was a whirlwind of a day so I'll get started.
I woke up at 8 today because I had gymnastics this morning. After gymnastics, me and my family went to the mall. I asked my mom whether there would be lion dances because they freak me out like nothing else on this world and when she didn't reply, I took that as a no. Big mistake. There was a lion dance at the mall and I have an irrational fear of it and I started to have panic attacks. My parents (of course) wanted to go and see the lions so I retreated to the second floor of the mall. Of course there are 2 lions up there too. So I ran into a charolette russe and hid there. My mom had to drag me out there to eat lunch and she said the table wouldn't be bothered by the lion dances. She lied. So I had to run outside while they were by my table. It sucked. It sucked even more because my parents didn't realize I was that afraid of them or thought it was a joke or something, which it was not. One of my friends has a fear of lizards, where when she sees one, she startes to get panic attacks and cry. That is my exact reaction with lion dances. Don't ask me why, because I don't even know. So that sucked soooo much. Then I get home and I have a crap ton of homework to do. So I did that and lucky me, I didn't even finish it.

Funniest moment: there wasn't any. Unless you count my fear of lion dances as funny. Then that was my funny moment.

Best part of the day: gym was pretty good. You can read more about that in my health and fitness of the day post.

Worst part of the day: ummm let me see. THE LION DANCE. It was freaking scary and I was dying in the mall. And they were everywhere!

Health and fitness of the day

Hey everyone! So it is time again for another health and fitness of the day post.

What I ate today:
rice
portuguese sausage
egg
pepperoni pizza
mini hamburgers
sweet potato fries

So today wasn't the healthiest day (obviously) but I think that its important to have "cheat" days because then you're not depriving yourself :D

My fitness:
I had gymnastics today! I was working on my standing tucks and I think that they have gotten much better. It's at the point where my coach is like "you've got to fall on your face a few times by yourself to make the changes you need to." I get that and I think that's good advice, but I am not looking forward to eating it! I was also doing running roundoff handspring tucks and my coach says that I can probably do them myself, but they'd look more like weird whips rather tan like actual tucks :(

Health and fitness of the day

Hey everyone!
So let's get started with my health and fitness of the day!

What I ate:
portuguese sausage
pancakes
cheeseburger
salad
diet coke
soybeans
chicken nuggets (dinosaur shaped!!!)
musubi
So overall I think it was a good day. I was pretty busy the entire day so I didn't get too much time to snack, which was a good thing! The cheeseburger wasn't the healthiest (it was from McDonalds) but it was hecka good. 

My fitness:
I didn't get any "exercise" in today, but I did some cleaning/manual labor. I was helping to clean my grandpa's house (read more about it in my last post) and I did some "labor" such as cleaning windows and mopping, and helping to dust and all of those other labor intensive stuff.

Let's recap the day

So today was pretty boring. I woke up really early to go and help my grandpa repair his house. He was renting it out and his last tenant totally trashed the house before he left. So we were trying to do some easy repairs and clean it before the new (hopefully better) tenants arrive. It was terrible because the house used to be so nice and beautiful, and it still looks that way on the outside, but on the inside, it is hideous because the guy trashed it! He broke a garage door. I don't even know how that is possible! So i spent the morning doing that. In the afternoon I came home and took a nap. I also did some homework. I watched twilight on tv all night. I started watching half way through the movie and they replayed it right afterwards so I watched it like 1 1/2 times! 

Funniest moment: I didn't really have too many LOL moments today :(

Best part of the day: Is it sad when the best part of my day is watching twilight? I love this movie and I haven't watched it in a while! Twilight is my second favorite movie out of the 5 after eclipse. (my order is eclipse, twilight, breaking dawn part 2, breaking dawn part 1, new moon) let me know your order of the movies in the comments!

Worst part of the day: going to one of the houses that I grew up in and seeing it trashed. It made me angry and I was upset after seeing that!

Health and fitness of the day

Hey everyone!
So it is time for another health and fitness of the day post.

What I ate today:
ramen
curry
rice
chocolate ice cream
chinese chicken salad
curry
rice
So as you can see I ate a lot of curry and rice today. I ate that for lunch, and lucky me, my parents didn't want to cook or pick up food so I got stuck eating that for dinner as well. Once again the chinese chicken salad was super good and healthy and yummy. The chocolate ice cream wasn't the healthiest, but I think I've been craving this lately because I'm getting my period soon! (sorry if thats a TMI). 

My fitness today:
I had yoga today! It was pretty intense. I know that all of you non yogis out there think that yoga is "easy" or whatever, and honestly, in the past I would have thought the same, but we were stringing together different poses and it was all continuous and it was a pretty great workout! Definitely recommend trying yoga if you're interested!

Let's recap the day

Hey everyone!
So today started off good because I didn't have math at 7:30 :D I had orchestra and it was pretty bad. We had a substitute again and everyone wanted to ditch, but no one ended up ditching because we couldn't decide who would ditch. Instead, we played like 20 questions with the sub and wasted 20 minutes of class time. It was so much better than playing! I had yoga today and I'll write more about that in my health and fitness of the day post. I had history class again, with torpedo and the rest of them. It was hilarious because in google docs when you have a group doc you can chat. People started chatting about random stuff and we started playing the rhyming game. Keep in mind, this is when my teacher was still teaching. So someone wrote hit as the word that we would have to rhyme with. Instead of writing pit, lit, sit, torpedo wrote "shit" it was so funny because my teacher saw that because the docs was projected in the front of the class. It was so hilarious. Then torpedo goes and writes in a history of the word to prove that its not that "bad". It was totally unnecessary and hilarious. It made my day. I got home and watched some television (scandal = amazing) I also got my phone! It is a LG extravert and I am loving it right now!

Funniest moment: History class!

Best part of the day: Not having to wake up early for math class! I like not having class until 8:30 rather than having math at an ungodly hour. Also I got a new phone!!!

Worst part of the day: Orchestra totally seemed like a total waste of time! I totally should have ditched LOL
