Freakin out for finals day 7: 2 down 2 to go!

Hey everyone!
So as I'm sure you can tell by the title, I had 2 finals today! I had my math and history finals, which, to be honest, I thought were going to be my easier finals. So if you want to know how they went keep reading!
I had the math finals in the morning and it was an hour and a half. Usually math finals at my school are like multiple choice and a few equations, but instead this math test was like a normal one with a few multiple choice, but mostly solving. I think that I did pretty well on this test, but there were a few sections of the notes that I forgot to review and I had issues on a few questions pertaining to those lessons. Overall, I feel like I did okay on it. Maybe not an "A" but I think at least  a "B", which I'm totally fine with! My history test was a little bit scarier. I didn't prepare for this well at all and it had the potential to go really, really bad. So the format of the test was 3 different prompts for essays, but on the day of there will only be 2 of those 3 essays and you need to write both of them. So there were 3 different questions (no kidding) but I was only confident with 2 of them. My teacher was strongly and by strongly I mean really strongly hinting to us that he would choose the first two, and I pretty much only prepared for those two, but luckily they were indeed the ones that he chose. I had an hour to write both essays and I actually managed to have decent time management skills because I was able to finish without rushing at the end! My handwriting was really crazy though, and I feel like my teacher is going to have a hard time reading it! Whoops! But overall, that final was "eh". Like I don't really have an idea of how I did on it because I don't know how he's going to grade.
So that was my recap on the 2 finals that I had today! Come back to this blog tomorrow for my recap on my spanish and chem finals! Also, if you missed yesterday's post, I'll link it here.
Are you guys getting stoked for summer? I sure am! Blog posts on more fun topics coming soon!

Freakin out for finals day 6: I give up!

Hey everyone!
So today is the day before the storm (aka the day before my finals) and to be perfectly honest, I didn't get much done. My family stayed at a hotel yesterday overnight and instead of going with them, I stayed at home to study. Today, my dad picked me up so I could join them at the pool and beach and that was pretty much my entire morning until like 1ish. Then when I got home, I ate lunch and decided that since I was tired, I would take a cat nap. What was supposed to be a short nap, turned into a long nap and I didn't wake up until 4:30. I studied off and on until 7 and I just decided to give up trying to force myself to study because I have 3 hours between my first final and when I get dropped off at school, so I can cram then. So that was my freakin out for finals day 6 recap! If you have finals soon, let me know how your studying is going in the comments and don't forget to subscribe for new videos every single day!

See you tomorrow!

Freakin out for Finals day 5: what to do when you get distracted

Hey everyone!
So it is time for day 5 of my freakin out for finals series! If you missed day 4, I'll link it here for you.  So today was really unproductive and I got off topic a lot so I thought it would be fun to give you a few tips on how to be more productive and what to do when you get distracted and off topic. So let's get started!
1) Give yourself some time to do whatever you want
If you have been studying for hours and you need a break, give yourself one! Sometimes if I've been studying for a while, I get distracted because I don't want to study any more and I want to do something else. Giving yourself 15 minutes or so is great because it makes you more productive because it allows you to do whatever you want to do and then focus on your studies.
2) Minimize distractions
For me this means using a radio for music instead of youtube because if I use youtube then I go on beauty videos and then I watch them and then I go to beauty blogs and then yahoo and then my email and then instagram and by then an hour has passed and I haven't got anything done! If you get easily distracted (like me) then try to set yourself up for success by minimizing your initial distractions!
3) Switch it up!
I get off topic and distracted if I get bored of the subject that I am studying so I would suggest switching your classes and subjects every 45 minutes or so just so you don't get used to the same thing and you get to review something different!
So those were my top 3 tips for minimizing distractions, increasing productivity, and what to do when you get distracted! I hope that this helped you in your quest for good grades and don't forget to subscribe for new posts daily!
Love you guys!

Freakin out for Finals: Day 4!

Hello everyone!
I haven't posted in a few days, and I'm really sorry for that, but I have just been really busy and sometimes my internet connection isn't good or I'm too tired and I don't want to take 5 minutes and write a post, but that's no excuse and I'm going to try and get back to my daily posting for you guys :D So today's post is day 4 of my final's series! If you missed day 3, I can link it here for you. So today I spent literally the whole day studying for my finals. I had a dentist appointment earlier today because I needed to get a cavity filled (fun stuff, right?) and I was even studying there! You know how they have to let you sit for a few minutes after they numb you so that it can circulate? I was sitting there pulling out my chem notes and reading through them. LOL! They probably thought that I'm a huge nerd or whatever, but that's what we do for good grades :D Then I got home and barricaded myself in my room and stuck to a rigid schedule. I did one hour of chem then 15 minutes of break (to eat or watch tv or take a cat nap) and then repeated that with spanish and math and asian history. I got through one and a half rotations, which is really good! Tomorrow I'm going to try and do more math and history because I didn't get a chance to do as much of that today and those are the first 2 finals that I have on tuesday!
So I hope that you enjoyed this freakin out for finals post! I'll be posting again tomorrow, so keep an eye out for that and don't forget to subscribe if you like this blog!

Freakin out for Finals day 3: Acting Like a Loner

Hey everyone!
So it is time for my freakin out for finals day 3 post! If you missed day 2, I'll link it here. So today's post will be a little recap and sort of a let's recap the day type post! So lets get going...
So I didn't have a lot of classes today. I only had orch, yoga, and history and the rest of my day were breaks. Breaks that most of my friends weren't on... So instead of searching the web (or reading old temptalia/musings of a muse posts) I decided to be productive! I started filling out my chem study guide. It is really colorful because I am the type of person that gets really bored if everything is the same color. I decided to use a different color for each topic and it looks a little crazy, but it really helps me! So I did like 1/3 of that, which I think is great although I looked a little bit like a loner because I was taking up like half a picnic table with my notes and I was pretty much by myself on the table. But hey! None of that matters when I ace my finals, right?
So that was my day 3 post for my freakin' out for finals series! Come back tomorrow for day 4 and don't forget to subscribe!

So What Happened with Cheerleading?

Hey everyone!
So its been a few days since cheerleading tryouts and I thought it would be a good time to let you know the results! So here it is...
I made a team! I said A TEAM instead of JV or Varsity because they actually accepted everyone who tried out because they are going to make a "game only" team, a JV team, and a Varsity team, but we won't know what team we made until the end of June or early July. I'm fine with that because that's what they did last year as well, but it kind of bothers me that there are essentially two tryouts instead of the usual one. So on friday, we had our conferences with  two of the varsity coaches. They gave us a score sheet with circles showing how we did on jumps, tumbling, cheer, and dance. I did well on the jumps, cheer, and dance, but the tumbling was not that great. I got really low scores and I think that's because my standing tumbling isn't the best and I got a lot of technique comments on that. But that's okay! What doesn't kill you makes you stronger :D So I'll be working on that for the second round of tryouts and I hopefully will make vars! So I can do some cheer conditioning tips if you'd like to see that in another blog post because I have some exercises that I need to start doing. Also, don't forget to subscribe for new posts daily!

The Office Finale! My thoughts on the latest episode

Hey everyone!
I have been a avid watcher of "the office" for the last 3 or 4 years. I was very young when the series first premiered, but around 4 years ago I decided to start watching the series because my parents loved it and I fell in love! I have watched every episode, and some episodes (especially from seasons 2, 3, and 4) multiple times! I thought that I'd give my thoughts on the series finale in this post! Also, there are going to be SPOILERS! Just thought you should know...
So, in a nutshell, I loved this finale! It brought together everything that I loved and made me happy! I think that this could be one of the better episodes of all time, although I don't think it would be "the best". Some things about the episode that I loved were...
1) TOBY! I loved the way that he was portrayed during this episode! He was always an outcast and a little bit hated during the series and I think this episode summed his character up perfectly! He was fired by dwight, rebuffed by nellie, living with 6 roommates and more! I just thought he was great.
2) ERIN! She finally met her mother (joan cusak) and father! I thought that this was great because she was one of the characters that was a little bit underdeveloped and I thought this was a nice end to her!
3) THE WEDDING! Angela and Dwight finally got married and I loved it! It was perfect for them from Phillis carrying Angela down the aisle, to Mose kidnapping Angela, to Dwight and the stripper! It was everything I could hope for in a mismatched wedding!
4) STEVE CARELL (MICHAEL SCOTT) He made the perfect cameo for me from the prank pulled off by Jim to the "that's what she said" It totally made me tear up a little bit!
There are more things that I loved (CREED! JIM AND PAM! ATHLEAP!) but I won't bore you with that, instead I'll say a few things that disappointed me...
1) No andy love
I wish that we would have gotten to see andy in a relationship at the end of the episode because I feel like that was a large portion of this past season, but that's really my only complaint!
Let me know in the comments your thoughts on the office finale and don't forget to subscribe to this blog for more tv posts!

Cheerleading Tryouts: Day 4

Hey guys!
It is the last day of my cheerleading tryouts series! If you missed yesterday's post, I'll link it here. So pretty much today was judgement day. We performed the cheer and dance with our groups in front of the judges (4 of them) and were scored. I don't exactly know the results yet, but I'll find out tomorrow!
So for makeup, I did a smokey eye with silver glitter eyeliner and a little bit of glitter on my cheekbones. I also did a sheer pink lip. It was really pretty! I'll do a tutorial on that soon :D We had around 15 minutes to warm up when we first arrived and my group ran through the cheer, stunt, and dance. It was really nerve racking because I don't fly very often and I was the "flier" in the group for the cheer. After we warmed up, we sat down and they called up groups to perform. When it was finally my turn, I felt like my heart would stop because I was so nervous! But I messed up the first time we did the cheer! There is a section where I'm supposed to move to the front middle, but I forgot to! Luckily  I was able to fix it when we did the cheer again. Also, my elevator stuck! I was really nervous because I totally felt like I was going to face plant, but I didn't :D  The dance was a lot better. I think that I did the dance really well and I made small mistakes, but I don't think they were too noticeable!
So that was my day 4 recap of cheerleading tryouts! I'll let you know what the results are in tomorrows post so be on the lookout for that :D

Cheerleading tryouts: day 3

Hey everyone!
This is the second to last day of my cheerleading tryouts series! If you missed day 2 I'll link it here. So this will be my day 3 recap!
The entire practice we had devoted to working on the cheer and dance in our group. It was a little difficult because we kept messing up the words on the cheer. Also, there are a few changes in the dance that I don't have down solid yet, which is a little bit scary because our actual "tryouts" are tomorrow! I fell out of an elevator, but I fell off the front because I toed and the base lost my foot. I didn't get injured, thankfully, and I stuck everything else! It was kind of a boring practice, but tomorrow will be interesting because that is when we are performing for the judges! Don't forget to subscribe for day 4 of my cheerleading tryouts tomorrow and leave a comment below letting me know if you're a cheerleader!

Cheerleading Tryouts: Day 2 Recap

Hey guys!
So yesterday I did my day 1 cheerleading recap. If you missed that post, I'll link it here. So this is my day 2 (out of 4) recap!
So yesterday we learned the cheer and we learned the dance prior to that through a video. Today we were performing our jumps (toe touch, pike, and toe toe double nine) and our standing and running tumbling. In the rest of the time, we were adding changes to the dance and the cheer to make it more creative and difficult. So for my jumps, I think that I did pretty well because I stuck every landing and I tried my hardest to apply the corrections that I was given. For my standing tumbling, I did a standing back handspring. This was okay. I think that my start and landing was good, but my legs were probably spread and bent. My running tumbling was a roundoff multiple back handspring. I got good height on it and my legs were together and I think that this was great! So for the cheer, something fun is that we are incorporating an elevator stunt and I'm flying! I used to fly for a little bit in intermediate, but I have based ever since. So this was really fun. Tomorrow we're going to finish our dance and cheer changes and run through it! So check back for that post tomorrow. Also, don't forget to subscribe for new posts daily!

Cheerleading Tryouts: Day 1

Hey everyone!
So to go along with my theme of cheerleading tryouts posts, I thought it would be fun to do a recap each day of tryouts so here is my cheerleading tryouts day one!
I got to tryouts around 20 minutes earlier to turn in my forms and stretch out and do some kicks and jumps. Once the actual tryouts started, we went inside and started reviewing motions and doing a few stretches for jumps. Then we learned/reviewed toe touches, pikes, and toe toe double nine jumps because those are the jumps we're going to be judged on tomorrow. We also learned the cheer. After this, we were split into our groups that we're going to tryout in! My group went to tumbling first just so we could warm up and I did my roundoff multiple back handsprings and my standing single handspring. Then we reviewed more jumps in our groups.
So that was day 1 of my cheerleading tryouts! Don't forget to check back for day 2 and subscribe for new posts daily!

My Week of HELL

Hey guys!
I just wanted to let you know that if you are a watcher of my youtube videos or read my other blog that I may not be posting/uploading as regularly this week because it's a little bit of a hellish/crazy week for me. If you're nosy (like me) and you want to know why this week is so bad, I'll explain it in the rest of the post.

Monday: I have cheerleading tryouts after school until late at night, a chem test, a spanish test, a english test, and a history paper due

Tuesday: I have cheerleading tryouts and some homework that I need to catch up on

Wednesday: Cheerleading tryouts and typical school stuff

Thursday: Cheerleading tryouts (in front of the judges) and catching up on more homework

Friday: Finding out if I'm on the team, math quarter final (counts as 2 tests), and more homework/typical school stuff

So this week is a little bit heavier than most weeks, but at least I'm getting the tests over with tomorrow (but I'm probably not going to get great grades on that) So if I don't post was much please excuse me, but I'll still do my best to get everything done on time and posts up each day. So don't forget to subscribe and leave a comment below letting me know how your week is going to be!

Harry Potter & HW: Let's recap the day!

Hey everyone!
This is a let's recap the day post! I haven't done one of these in a while, but I thought it would be fun to do today. So I have lots of tests and projects and homework so my weekend is very school oriented. I have a history paper due on monday so I primarily focused on that today. I went back and forth between that and television. Then I decided to take a break and watch a movie on netflix. Obviously one movie turned into two (what to expect when your expecting and bruno) and then when I found out it was harry potter weekend, it turned into three movies. My parents have been really stressed and on edge today which always sucks because they get really pissed for no apparent reason, but lucky for me they tend to take it out on my brother because they knew that I was doing homework most of the day :D
So that was my boring let's recap the day post! I'd love to hear how your day was so leave it in a comment and don't forget to subscribe!

Cheerleading Tryouts: Do's and Don'ts

Hey everyone!
This is a post on cheerleading tryouts do's and don'ts. This is the second post in my cheerleading tryouts series! If you missed the first one, I'll link it here. So here are a few of my do's and dont's!

Do: use your face!

Sometimes people forget to smile because they are focusing so hard on the dance moves or their tumbling! Use your face to make your dancing more energetic and fun. Also, if you mess up, don't let it show on your face! Performance is all about faking it till you make it!

Don't: waste time
At a cheerleading tryout, the days leading up to the tryout are just as important as when you perform for the judges. If they see you wasting time instead of practicing, they aren't going to think of you as a hard worker or a motivated person.

Do: dress the part!
I'm going to do a post on my makeup for cheerleading tryouts or competitions soon, but I'll just let you have the abridged version here. So you want to have some heavier makeup, maybe some glitter eyeliner, and hair pulled into a high ponytail with a bow. Wear this everyday because it shows that you're prepared and poised.

Don't: watch other people (if you're trying out in groups)
At my school, we do the dance and cheer in groups at the tryouts. If this is the same at your school, just remember to learn the dance well enough so that you can do it without looking at other people! It's okay to be worried about timing, but use your peripherals instead or staring at them :D

So those were my do's and don'ts for cheerleading tryouts! If you are a cheerleader, let me know what your do's and dont's are for tryouts in the comments! Also, don't forget to subscribe and come back to this blog in a few days for my cheerleading makeup tutorial!

less than 3 weeks!

Hey everyone!
So I have less than 3 weeks left before summer vacation! It's just crazy thinking about it and I just thought that I'd share some of my musings about it with you! Also, my cheerleading series will resume tomorrow so be on the lookout for that!
There are less than 21 days left before school is out! This is just crazy to think about and really overwhelming at the same time. Let's just think about it... next week is cheerleading tryouts, and I have a math quarter final, a chem unit exam, a spanish vocab quiz, and a english test, as well as a few papers due. That's craziness that I need to get on top of! I also have a project for english due in 2 weeks that is a huge portion of the grade. Also, there are my 4 finals this semester, which include chem, math, history, and spanish! It's really crazy thinking about it especially because this has been a drama filled year that has been intense and eye opening and it feels like yesterday was the first day of school!
I just wanted to share a few of my thoughts in this post because I thought it would be fun to share some of my stresses and school things with you! Don't forget to subscribe to this blog for new posts daily!

Cheerleading tryouts: tips and tricks

Hey guys!
I thought that I would do a cheerleading tryouts series of sorts. This post will be on my tips and tricks and I think in a few days I'll have one with do's and don'ts and maybe another one with how to dress. Let me know if there are any specific ones you'd like! So here its is.
I have been a cheerleader for the past 4 years and I have made the team every single year and at my school, you have to tryout each year that you'd like to be on the team so this year is my 5th year trying out. So I think that I know a thing or two about cheerleading tryouts! Here are my tips.
1) Ask for help!
Don't be afraid to ask the coach or whom ever is running the tryouts for help if you need it. It shows initiative that you are willing to do whatever you need to in order to be the best and it also makes you stand out and the coach will take notice of you! All good things :D

2) Always smile (even when no ones looking)
This is a must! Sometimes there are people who come in with bad attitudes that smile when the coach is "looking at them", but frown or complain the rest. Most times, a coach can tell that this is happening and they notice when you aren't keeping up your smiles throughout the tryouts. Always pretend that someone's watching you because you'll be on your best behavior and you'll have some practice for if you make it on the team!

3) Be a team player!
This is a huge one! If someone asks you for help with a cheer or dance, help them! Cheerleading is a team sport and if you can get your people skills down, it'll help you in the long run. Also, never forget that the people you're trying out with could be your teammates!

4) Take corrections
This is a hard one because sometimes a fellow tryouter will try and give you advice, and my suggestion would be to try and take that advice or at least consider it because having an ego won't help you. Also, try to keep in mind that in most cases they're trying to help you out!

5) Have fun!
This one's pretty self explanatory, but if you're not having fun at tryouts, you won't have fun during the season!

So those were my top 5 tips and tricks! Let me know your tips and tricks in the comments and don't forget to subscribe to get my upcoming posts on do's and don'ts and outfits!

5 great things about today 5/6/13

Hey guys!
Its been quite a while since my last 5 great things post and I thought that it would be fun to do an updated one! If you haven't seen my last one, I'll link it here. I think its fun to talk about my favorite things that happened today so lets get into it!
1) Baking!
I baked lemon bars today and they are delicious and they smell really good :D I'm going to bring them to school tomorrow for my classes and my friends!
2) Yoga
I had yoga at school today (It's my PE class) and we were doing headstands and stretches and sun salutations and I thought that they were lots of fun! I really liked those headstands, though :D
3) Pen Pals!
I have a spanish pen pal for my spanish class and we got another letter from them! It always makes me happy to get a letter and it's always interesting to see what he writes!
4) Dinner!
We had grilled vegetables (eggplant, onion, mushrooms, bell peppers) and steak for dinner tonight! It is totally one of my favorite dinners and it tasted absolutely amazing!
5) Over 30 Subscribers!

What's going on with my... Cheerleading!

Hey guys!
I wanted to do a post letting you know whats been going on with my cheerleading! Now that I'm not doing my daily health and fitness posts, I haven't really updated you guys on my cheerleading so I thought I'd do it in this post!
So tryouts are in a few weeks and we have an informational meeting this week. It is going to be an interesting season because we are losing our head coach for years and years as well as our tumbling coach, which means that we are going to have an entirely new coaching staff! That can either be a really good thing or a bad thing :O So I am really excited for tryouts because I actually have a standing tumbling (standing back handspring or standing double handspring) to tryout with! It's a little sad though because I am really close to getting my running roundoff handspring tuck, but I haven't been able to get the height and landing quite right so I'm not confident enough to try out with it yet. I have been on my JV team for the last few years, but I don't really have a preference between JV or varsity unlike others on my team because cheerleading is a sport and a hobby and isn't my life!
So let me know if your a cheerleader, what's going on with your team! Also, if you'd like more cheerleading posts, leave a comment below! I was thinking of doing a tryout tip post, but if you have any others, let me know!

New Music Favorite!

Hey guys!
This is something new! I usually don't do music posts because I watch more television and am more into that than music, but I have one for you today! I just wanted to let you know about one of my new favorite groups! 30 Seconds To Mars. There are three members of the group, shannon leto, jared leto, and tomo and their genre is alternative rock. I found them on youtube yesterday (I'll link their channel here) and I really love their songs because they are catchy and amazing! Also, their music video for up in the air is really artistic and a little bit crazy but amazing! If you have a few minutes, I would totally check them out because it's my new favorite band!

Let me know what other music artists/groups you've been loving in the comments and don't forget to subscribe for new content daily!

My new favorite movie?

Hey guys!
So my parents bought Silver Linings Playbook the other day on Amazon and we decided to watch it tonight as a family. I hadn't seen this movie before, and it was actually all of our first times watching it. And I really liked it! I thought the storyline was amazing and the actors were amazing and it just was incredible! It was one of those movies that has lots of lessons that I can take away from it and apply to my life and I think that it may have had a lasting impact on me. Some of the lessons that I think that you can take from this movie is to always find the silver linings in the bad situations, take the haters and make them your motivators, and to accept that all of us has a bit of crazy in us!
I would totally suggest getting this movie or at least renting it and trying to watch it because I think that this has changed me and has just been so inspirational and is probably going to end up in my top 10 favorite movies!
Let me know in the comments what other movies you enjoy, and don't forget to subscribe for new posts daily!

Friends...

Hey guys!
Todays post is going to be on something that I deal with and that I think a lot of girls and boys out there deal with as well. It's having a guy friend (or girl friend) that you're really close with, but not interested in romantically. I think that this is a really awkward topic, but it is something that I've had to deal with a ton in the past 3 or 4 years and I've gotten really good at dealing with it so I thought I would share some tips as well as let y'all in on my life.
So let's start with the backstory... I have been friends with a guy, let's call him K for around 5 years. I wasn't that close with him at first, but within the past 3 years we have gotten really close (still as friends) and we have gone through a lot with each other and we have both grown closer due to some personal events. He is the person that I chat with when I want advice on guys, schoolwork, television shows, sports, gossip, pretty much anything that you could think of. I think that I can share so much with him just because I know that he isn't secretly judging me because he's seen me through the times when I'm happy and smiling and when I'm crying and not that pretty. Just to keep everything open, we've both dated people and there has been 0 awkwardness just in case you were wondering. So that is pretty much my story of me and K.
Some people think that you can't be friends with a guy without awkwardness or having one person liking the other. I can't speak for K, but I know that I have never once thought about him romantically and I love him, but only as a friend. I practically treat him as my brother and that is the exact relationship we have down to the teasing. So for all you guys (or girls) in the same situation as me, I got some tips for you!
1) If someone says "Do you like ______?"
I say, yes, but only as a friend or something along the lines of that. There are always going to be the drama creators that read too far into things or think that somethings going on when nothing is, but if people are generally curious, tell it like it is, but if they keep digging, move forward.
2) If someone says "It's so obvious that you flirt with ________!"
I would say, "since when is being friendly flirting?" Or something along that line. I think that this is the time when you can either crack a joke about how you treat him no different than your other friends, but no one says that you're flirting with your friends of the same sex or you can get really defensive, which makes you look bad in the end.
3) If someone says "You two should go out!"
I would say "thanks, but I only like him as a friend". Same as #1, but just know that most times these people have nice intentions and are trying to give a complement no matter how strange that seems, but don't take it seriously and just let them know that you're not interested in that person like that.
So those were my few tips on having friends of the opposite sex. I really do think that this is an awkward situation that lots of people deal with and I know your pain! So leave a comment below with your stories or a tip that you have and subscribe!

The Imperfect Life TAG

Hey everyone!
I wanted to do the imperfect life tag for you guys today. I saw a few videos on this on youtube and it is basically like you say or write a few challenges or events that have shaped you into who you are today. So I think you say what they were/are and how they changed you. So here is my imperfect life tag.
I am very blessed. I live in hawaii and I have my two wonderful parents and a younger brother and a younger sister. I have all six of my grandparents still alive and luckily for me, I haven't had to deal with loss in my life yet. I attend a really amazing school here in hawaii, that is extremely expensive, but it is one of the best private schools in the nation. I know that there are people with stories that are more dramatic or depressing than mine and that mine may pale in comparison to theirs, but I wanted to do this anyways because in the end everyone deals with things and my story is no less important than anyone else. I have always been that girl that tries to help everyone else. I am the happy go lucky girl who always has a smile on her face that tries to be the light at the end of the tunnel. I have been picked on because of that. I wouldn't necessarily consider it bullying, but there are just times when I place my trust in people that don't necessarily deserve it and I've been screwed over. I remember when I was cheerleading a few years back, my coaches had individual conferences with us to address our progress and my coaches said that I was the best performer (facially and expressively) on my team. I was ecstatic so I told another girl on my team, whom I thought was my friend. I don't think she meant to make a big deal of it, but she told another girl, who then decided to confront me and make a big deal of me thinking that I was better than everyone else, which I wasn't. I was devastated. There have been many occasions like that sprinkled throughout my life and it hurts just as badly every single time. This has changed me because I am more guarded now. There are people who can befriend a person in a minute and be able to talk to them about anything and everything. That person was me for the longest time, but I've changed and now I'm the person who has really great amazing friends, but those are the people who have earned my trust over years. I am that person who can be seen as a loner because when everyone is socializing I'm in the corner doing my homework, but I know that everything happens for a reason and that everything takes time and will get better eventually. This was an extremely long post, so that you so much if you took the time to read it all. I would love for you to do this tag, but it is very personal so if you don't feel like it, that's fine as well. Please subscribe for new (happier) posts daily and just know that you guys are my light and that I love you all!
