Netflix TAG!

Hey everyone!
As many of you know, I am a huge fan of Netflix, and I pretty much watch it non-stop! I heard about the Netflix tag that's been going around the blogosphere, and I thought that I'd do it today for you all!

1) What are your favorite series on Netflix?
Gossip Girl, Undercover Boss, The Office, Parks and Recreation, the Twilight Zone, Friends, and Dance Moms!

2) What are you currently watching on Netflix?
I've been trying to watch through all of the seasons of Parks and Recreation. I'm somewhere in season five right now, and I've been doing around an episode a day! I'm also watching some Gossip Girl too!

3) If you could have any series put on Netflix, what would it be?
SHARK TANK! I'm literally obsessed with the show, and there's like 6 seasons so I would go crazy watching each episode a billion times!

4) What's your one pet peeve about Netflix?
When it takes forever to buffer!

5) What are your essentials for a perfect night in with Netflix?
Candy! Especially Redvines or SnowCaps! Also, a really fluffy blanket and hot chocolate, coffee, or diet coke to drink!

6) Recommend one series or film for someone else!
I guess it depends on what you like! My favorite movie I've watched on Netflix would be either Breakfast at Tiffany's, Human Centipede, or World War Z. My favorite television shows would be Gossip Girl, Parks and Rec, the Office, and Friends! Haha that's wayyyy more than one series, but oh well!

So I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know in the comments what you love to watch on netflix, and don't forget to check out my links!

Second Semester Senior

Hey everyone!
So my second semester started this week, and as I'm writing this, we're two days into the new semester! This is my last semester of school, so yes, I'm a second semester senior. I've written posts telling you my expectations for the semester, and what I'm taking for my classes, and I thought I'd do it again!

But first... Senioritis. It is a thing, and I've been struggling with it since November, to be honest, because I applied everywhere super early and I was done with everything by then. I am such a good student, and now, I feel zero motivation towards school. I guess that's good because I can channel that energy into work, blogging, and youtubing, but my grades are somewhat slipping..... (I'll do another post on my first semester grades when they come out!)

English - Bible as Literature
Did. Not. Want. This. It was literally one of the classes that I did not want to take at all, but all of the other english courses offered conflicted a ton with my classes, and this was the only class that could fit. I also needed this class to complete my 4 years of english!

Spanish IV
Spanish is fun! It's my fourth year taking it, and I kind of wanted to drop this semester as it's super project based and not really "learning", but I figured why not!

Advanced Biotechnology
The only class I'm super excited about! I'm going to major in biochemistry in college, and this class seems like such great preparation and we're going to be doing a ton of DNA and Protein based labs and I'm psyched for it!

AP Physics 1&2
Sooooo not my subject... I hate physics, but I'm taking both 1&2 so I can take the AP test and hopefully test out of some of the physics courses I'll need to take in college! (But this is a class I actually need to TRY in!)

Advanced Pre Calculus
I'm not super great at pre calculus either, but the class moves really quickly and a lot faster than regular pre calculus. We're learning matrices right now, and that seems pretty good, though!

AP European History
Love this class! So much fun, and my teacher and classmates are wonderful! This is a class that I don't try super hard in, but feel like I'm learning a ton regardless!

So those are the 6 courses I'm taking this semester! I'll keep you updated on them :P Let me know if you experienced the second semester senior syndrome or senioritis in the comments, and check out some of my links below!

Here's to the New Year

Hi everyone!
I've been thinking about what I wanted to do this new year for myself. How I could better myself and grow personally and professionally. I'm still only seventeen, but I strive for greatness. I don't want to be stuck in the simplistic view of life, like my classmates, where everything is planned out (go to college, get a job, get married, have kids...). I want to make opportunities myself, I want to become even more creative, more independent, and more extraordinary than I am. The only problem is, I'm not quite sure how to do that. I am definitely going to be adapting my blogs and channels to figure out what my point of view is and what I'm truly passionate about in 2015. I'm also going to try and be as proactive about learning about business and communication. I am definitely not going to be majoring in either of those sectors (I'm pretty set on biochemistry), but on the off chance that blogging can turn in to something more than a meaningless hobby, I'd like to be prepared. I already have two books lined up for me to read. Crucial Conversations by Kerry Patterson, and Driven by Robert Herjavec. I am pretty sure that I'll try to read one book a month or one every other month depending on my schedule and I'll definitely be reviewing them on the blog!
Let's make 2015 the best year yet, and let us become our most vibrant, beautiful, intelligent selves.

New Years Resolutions

Hey everyone!
It's day 2/365 in 2015, and I thought I'd share some of my new years resolutions with you! Some years I make resolutions, and some years I don't, and last year I didn't make any at all. I separated my life into 6 sections, and I made a resolution for each one!

In 2014 I suffered from a lot of health problems surrounding my shoulder, and it limited the amount that I exercised. I'm going to try and do some sort of exercise or stretching three times a week!

I consider blogging and youtubing my "work" although it's not really work at all. I am going to try push out as much content as I can and I really want to start making money from my blogging.

I'm going to be starting college in the fall, so my goal is to do well and transition gracefully into a new place and school!

I want to spend as much time with my family as I can because I'll probably move to another state for college!

Kind of the same idea as the Family one, but I want to spend more time with friends, which has been hard as I've been working a ton lately!

Get my license! I'm turning 18 this year, and it's about time that I do that!

I know that not everyone is a resolution person, but if you are, let me know in the comments what your resolutions are! Let's make 2015 the best year yet!
